Precession vortex flowmeter

Product Overview
The intelligent precession vortex flowmeter is a new type of gas flow meter developed by our company with the leading level in China. The flowmeter integrates the functions of flow, temperature and pressure detection, and can automatically compensate for temperature, pressure and compression factor, which is an ideal instrument for gas metering in petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgical and other industries.

How it works

The flow profile of the flow sensor resembles the profile of a venturi tube. A set of spiral guide vanes are placed on the inlet side, forcing the fluid to create a violent vortex flow as it enters the flow sensor. When the fluid enters the diffusion section, the vortex current is affected by the reflux and begins to rotate twice, forming a gyro-like vortex precession phenomenon. The precession frequency is proportional to the flow rate, and is not affected by the physical properties and density of the fluid, and the precession frequency of the secondary rotation of the fluid measured by the detection element can obtain good linearity in a wide flow range. The signal is amplified, filtered, and shaped by the preamplifier and converted into a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate, and then sent to the microprocessor for accumulation and processing together with the temperature and pressure detection signals, and finally the measurement results (instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, temperature, and pressure data) are displayed on the LCD screen.
